America is trying too much to imitate Europe and failing from health care to shrinking sizes of appliances/homes.etc and the whole gambit of how evil air con is while those same people who spout it off use it themselves religiously in their expensive smart grid. Politics in America are totally extreme right now and it would spill into Britain.
